The game of golf has long been the heralded as the serious man's sport.

Played by dignified businessmen to the leaders of our countries, the sport has never been synonymous with the roaring crowds of a football game, the vibrantly dressed cheerleaders of a basketball match or guttural yells of hockey enthusiasts. While most of these things will never see the light of day during a round of golf, Brian Curley, an Avant garde thinker and mastermind behind the new "golf course" in Hainan China, want's to change to way people think when cheap jerseys the word golf is come to mind.

A few years ago, Curley set out on a mission. He wanted to bring a new dynamic to the game a golf. For too long he saw the sport steeped in too much somberness. The sport often alienated younger players from participating by being inaccessible or not as exciting as other alternatives. How does one deal cheap nfl jerseys with this he thought? Change the landscape. And that is just what he has done in his new golf course design, literally changed the physical landscape of the gold course.

Gone from Curley's new course are the tired and overused fairways, sand traps and sprinkled hilly mounds. What has risen up to take its place? A much wackier, almost miniature golf cheap nfl jerseys course design. However, Curley wants to make it clear that this is no course for amateurs. His genre bending course design leaves little to luck and relies heavily on a golfer's skill.

What can golfers expect with a round on this almost completed course? Well, for starters, golfers will take their first shot on a green that is designed to bear close resemblance to the country's famous Great Wall of China. The Wall, replicated across some 400 meters in a par four hole, sets the golfer up for a series of eye popping often beautiful, skill testing shots.

Many golf enthusiasts can recall the iconic 17th hole of the Sawgrass course native to Florida. On this whole, thousands watched as the likes of Tiger Woods and other famous golfers attempted to land their ball atop a small island surrounded by water.

How did Curley take his own spin on this hole? Well, with a bowl of noodles of course. That is of course one 80 meter wide bowl of noodles complete with a pair of 50 meter chopsticks. The center of this "bowl" has the standard hole much like the Sawgrass version. But instead of water, the small island is surrounded by a lake of noodles.

This eclectic course doesn't stop there. Other shots include a replication of the famous "birds nest" stadium as well as a shot with bunkers and hills made to replicate China's famous mammal, the panda.

Another par five course closely resembles Mayan ruins while another shorter, par three shot will see golfers weaving their way in and out of a flowing lava stream and large, rocks wholesale nfl jerseys that jut into the sky.

All wholesale jerseys of this sound intriguing? Well, don't hold your breath just yet. The course is still under construction and the finishing touches aren't slated to be finished until late 2014.

Can North Dakota State three

As the FBS winds down the final version of its BCS system, the FCS is set to commence its Playoffs. Now in its 35th year, it's a pretty good model. So good, in fact, that the tournament is expanding to 24 teams this year.

The FCS seeds eight teams, all of whom get the benefit of a bye week while the first round is played. From there, the higher seed will have home field advantage until the Jan. 4 national championship game in Frisco, Texas, home of the MLS' FC Dallas. That home edge is a major boost to teams like No. 1 seed North Dakota State and No. 5 Maine, whose home field advantages are renowned across the country.

The favorite Cheap Jerseys

North Dakota State wins. They got five consecutive wins over FBS opponents and the last two national titles. They been there before, and nothing this season has suggested that they can get there again. If you heard of any FCS program the last few years, you heard of the Bison. They the Alabama Crimson Tide of the FCS postseason, and anyone else looking to figure into the mix will be an underdog.

This year, they won 24 21 at the Big 12's Kansas State and then beat up on most of their opponents the rest of the way. USA Today computer ranker Jeff Sagarin has the Bison ranked 25th among all Division I teams, ahead of six FBS schools currently ranked in the BCS' top 25. The Bison are known most of all for their defense, and this year they've allowed only 11.5 points per game. Senior quarterback Brock Jensen, last year's FCS postseason MVP, commands a run heavy offense that ranks No. 23 in yardage. 5 Maine? The Black Bears have never hosted a Playoffs game in Orono, but they will this season, when either Lafayette or New Hampshire treks up. They have one of the CAA top quarterbacks in Marcus Wasilewski (68.9 completion percentage) and a veteran team that could be their best in recent memory. If the 10 2 Black Bears ever had a shot, it was this season.

Fellow CAA squad No. 7 Towson entered the season with much higher expectations than Maine's, but they lost a bit of their cachet along the way. Even so, at 10 2, they have to be considered dangerous, and junior tailback Terrence West (1,865 yards rushing) has the talent to play at Cheap Hats any level. They won hesitate to try and ride West all the way to Frisco.

No. 3 Eastern Washington burst onto the scene just a few years ago, as they took a step forward from a good Big Sky program to one of the FCS elites. It is no surprise that they back, and they have the experience to hang around next month. Their offensive firepower is as good as anyone's (ask Oregon State), and they proven that they can play with the best in this field.

No. 2 Eastern Illinois scores points, grabbing everyone attention with a decisive win over FBS San Diego State early on. They have just one loss, to potential MAC champion NIU. The only other one loss team in the bracket is unseeded Wholesale Snapbacks Hats Fordham.

No. 8 Montana is a tough one to predict. They were rocked by a Northern Arizona team that didn't have any business beating them, but then narrowly lost to Eastern Washington late in the season. They stuttered in recent years, but they will be a tough out for North Dakota State should they match up in the quarterfinals.

Why the FCS Playoffs Wholesale Stitched Jerseys matter

by Brian Ewart

You have watched mid week MACtion. You will watch a bowl game named after a pizza chain, and you go to a big open air church to worship the gridiron on Saturday afternoons. You love college football.

While the FCS doesn hand out any crystal footballs and won crown the best team in the land, the other Division I postseason is still worth watching. The FCS champion has received votes in every final AP poll since 2009 (thanks Ray Ratto!) and will likely do so again. That champion probably will have knocked off a team from the FBS at some point this season there were 15 of those upsets this season and that isn a fluke.

In 2010, FCS James Madison knocked off a Virginia Tech team that would eventually find itself in the Orange Bowl. A year earlier, Villanova narrowly beat a Temple team that won nine games.

The talent gap isn as big as you think. Top FCS teams often bring on players who transfer out of FBS programs. Players like Fordham QB Michael Nebrich (UConn) and Delaware QB Trent Hurley (BGSU), bolster FCS rosters with FBS talent. Other athletes just fall through the cracks think of former Villanova running back Brian Westbrook, UMass Victor Cruz or Eastern Illinois Tony Romo as recent examples.

Offenses and defenses use similar schemes, and the pace of the game should look almost exactly the same to the viewer. This is meaningful and exciting football, where every team has more than just a minor bowl to play for. It isn't the SEC or the Big Ten, but every team left has a chance to win it all.

The dark horses NFL Jerseys Cheap

No. 4 Southeastern Louisiana NFL Jerseys Wholesale is perhaps the hottest team in the country, having beaten three top 25 (and two Playoffs) teams in the last four weeks. There's a lot of be said for playing well at the right time, and they certainly are. It's their first Playoffs appearance though, so how they handle the big stage remains to be seen.

You might argue that No. 6 McNeese St. is the best team that the Southland Conference has to offer, except for the 41 7 shellacking that SE Louisiana handed them, at home nonetheless. Still, the Cowboys can put up points in bunches with quarterback Zach Adkins at the helm of a balanced attack.

Some FCS fans may be wondering if Sam Houston State was given an at large bid on reputation. The Bearkats have made the FCS Championship two years in a row, and while they sputtered at the end of the regular season with two straight losses, they know how to win at this time of year.

Bethune Cookman gets it done with defense, boasting the No. 2 overall defense in the country. Not many teams at this level rely on their defensive unit.

Fordham hasn looked the same without quarterback Michael Nebrich, but the Rams have really turned the corner this season and should have enough in the tank to take on NEC champions Sacred Heart. The Walter Payton Award (an FCS version of the Heisman) candidate came back on Saturday to throw for 395 yards and five touchdowns, proving that he is ready for the postseason challenge. The Rams have not lost with a healthy Nebrich in the lineup, and they have a chance to surprise everyone this postseason.

Collecting Vintage Australian Teddy Bears

The oldest and most prolific of the Australian soft toy manufacturers, Joy Toys is known for its quality. Highly sought after by collectors, Joy Toys teddy bears command high prices on the Australian market.

The teddy bear industry began in Australia in South Yarra, Melbourne. Joy Toys commenced business in the early 1920s, as teddies became popular, and as WW1 meant a ban on teddies being imported from Germany, and disrupted shipments from Britain. Established by George Kirby and his wife, the company flourished.

The earliest bears produces were fully jointed, from fine quality English mohair, stuffed with wood wool, and had twill pads with four foot claws. Eyes were glass, of the best quality. As German bears had been the predominant imports, these early Joy Toys bears resembled German bears.

The company continued its success, with the bears becoming distinctly Australian in appearance, but with British characteristics. Necks became immobile, and arm pads were tapered and made of cotton, including twill. The distinctive Joy Toys nose appeared, in which an outer stitch on each side was extended up, and with a "Y" shaped mouth. Kapok( soft, silky fibre from the seed pod of a tropical tree) was used as the stuffing. Often the eyes are missing from these early bears, which appears to have been a fault in the production.

In 1935 Joy Toys acquired the licencing rights to produce Walt Disney character toys and this helped the company to grow. Mickey Mouse was a popular toy, with pie crust eyes, and similar to the original rat like "Steamboat Willy". Tri ang was originally founded by the Lines Brothers in 1850, and which also owned Pedigree.

Dolls were produced, often of felt with buckram (cloth mask) painted faces. Good examples still exist though they are a favourite with moths and so some damage is usually present!

Joy Toys teddies of this period often display a distinctive smile! Happy bears are appealing and sell well! In the 1950s they had jointed (though stumpier) arms and legs, made from mohair/synthetic plush, velveteen or, later in the 60s, synthetic plush. Paw pads were often from a similar fabric, sometimes reversed. Crumbed rubber was also used for stuffing during this Elite Jimmy Smith Jersey period, which deteriorated over time and so many of these bears have an unfortunatelumpiness!

During the 1960s, with the introduction of machine washable synthetic materials, the company developed a distictive unjointed teddy, with outstretched arms and straight legs. Pads were of a similar fabric. The same sweet smiling face, glass eyes and embroidered nose and mouth, could be seen in a range of animals that were also produced, such as pandas and dogs. Stuffing was plastic foam moulded into the shape of the body.

Golliwogs were made at this time, with smiling vinyl faces, short fuzzy black hair, cloth bodies and jacket "tails". These toys are highly sought after.

Another distinctive toy of the 60s and early 70s was the long legged range. These included golly wogs and poodles. Each "stood" three feet tall www.nflshopauthenticonline.com/nike-terrell-suggs-jersey-c-1_53_61.html with long dangly arms and legs. Stuffed with foam, gollies had flat cotton faces, whereas poodles had shaped faces, curly "hair' anda tail.

In 1966Lines Bros (Tri ang)took over the company, though it continued to operate under the Joy Toys name.

Teddies produced in the early 1970s were of the unjointed shape. Produced from synthetic materials, they still generally had the beautiful glass eyes that Joy Toys was renowned for.

A vast range of soft toy animals also continued to bemanufactured at this time, including giraffes in various sizes, dogs and cats. Giraffes, as they had been since the 1950s, were made from artificial silk plushes, giving them a lovely satiny sheen.

In the late 1960s, and into the early 1970s, tariffs were removed by the Australian goverment on imported toys. Consequently, the market was flooded with cheap imports from Asia.

The labels attached to the toys varied according to when they were made, though the time periods given are approximations.

1920s 40s green embroidered "Joy Toys/Made In Australia" on Elite Torrey Smith Jersey white cotton label.

1950s early 60s green printed "Joy Toys/Made in Australia" on white cotton label.

1960s 70s red or purple printed "Joy Toys/(Made In)Australia" on white label. Ocasionally labels simply said "Made In Nike Torrey Smith Jersey Australia".

Swing tags Jimmy Smith Jersey accompanied each toy, though these are now hard to find intact.

Value depends on many factors, including the generally accepted market determinants: rarity; age; condition; and appeal.

The increasing use of the internet has affected values in recent years, as it has opened up the global market to buyers and sellers. Many prices have fallen, nflshopauthenticonline.com/nike-joe-flacco-jersey-c-1_53_57.html whilst others have remained steady.

The following prices are an approximation only, and reflect the differences in values from those expected at a market, through to those expected at auction, private sale or antique shop.1930/40s $250 $1,200

It's neat to collect something that gains value over the years. I imagine you really like you teddy bears. Interesting hub.

Corporate Profits Are At An All

Stock markets, like trees, don't grow to the sky, even if the Dow and the S P 500 keep gaining ground and hitting new record highs. (The S 500 is up 170% since March 2009)

Still, the risks are rising for the stock market. Stock prices have climbed relentlessly this year and even more to the point have not corrected 10% in over 2 years. The bearish percentage of the Investors Intelligence Survey is only 16.5%; that means 83.5% of market opinion makers are bullish. In fact there are far fewer bears on November 30, 2013 that at the peak of the market in either 2000, the eve of dot com bubble bursting ,or in 2007 just as the credit bubble was about to blow a near depression our way. One reason: the market peaked in March 2000 at 26 times earnings, while the multiple today is 19.5 times earnings. (see chart on the right) This is called the curse of complacency, but it may continue until it doesn't any longer. Trust Game Joe Flacco Jersey me; the market should not have been selling at 26 times earnings in March, 2000. Smart money was short the NASDAQ index and just waiting for the denouement.

Another worrisome sign: almost 2 of every 3 technology IPOs are being sold to the public without any profits at all. In the broader market "multiple expansion is driving stock market performance to a far greater degree than earnings while earnings themselves are being driven to a remarkable extent by share buybacks," writes Christopher Wood in his Nov. 29 "GREED fear" market comment. The other force driving stock prices is the growing awareness that Quantitative Easing may be extended further in the future than anyone expects. The nation's money supply is up 30%, but the money is sitting on bank balance sheets and not being put to work creating profits as the near record low velocity of money shows.

No matter. The Fed does not see a stock market bubble in the future even though leverage through margin accounts is up 70% from summer of 2010 levels, which when charted alongside the chart of the S P 500 Elite Terrell Suggs Jersey clearly signals a market top similar to the relationship between margin and stock prices in 2000 and 2007. I'm not a chartist, but many should be soon obsessed with this similarity.

One of the most outspoken bears is Outside the Box's John Maudlin, who wrote an open letter to the FOMC this week on "Recognizing the Valuation Bubble in Equities." You have to pay close attention to Maudlin's reasoning, which I'm obliged to disclose are based on the opinions of investor John Hussman, a closely followed investment adviser. He says "while price/earnings multiples appear only moderately elevated, those multiples themselves reflect earnings that embed record profit margins that stand about 70% above their historical norms." Get that? Stocks are priced too high because expected record profits are too far above normal corporate earning power. By this rule of thumb, Maudlin reckons that "market valuations are well above any point prior to the late 1990s market bubble." Meaning that it's 2000 all over again, as profit margins must revert to mean sooner or later.

Things could be too good to improve, but they could improve based solely on stock market momentum until either the economy slows from its already stagnant condition, or some outside event like Obamacare becomes an excuse for selling. I bet that profit taking rules for the rest of December.

Given the substantial gain in the S 500 since mid 2009, the best strategy is to assess the likelihood of a www.nflshopauthenticonline.com/nike-torrey-smith-jersey-c-1_53_63.html reversal in the stock market to a bear market phase. That model has been successful in predicting (in sample) all the reversals between bull and bear markets over the past 50 years.

I would certainly be interested also, but I expect it may be something FA wants to keep close. If you are willing to share, please send it along. I'll provide the address. I have to agree with the assessment, but after the first, I expect there will be some point at which effects from Obamacare will begin to shake out and will provide some impetus one way or the nflshopauthenticonline.com/nike-jimmy-smith-jersey-c-1_53_62.html other to the stock market. Whether or not the market moves very much will probably depend on Obamacare's effects vector (magnitude and direction).

If the stock market heads south, I would have to question how far it would go. If one pulls money out, where is it going to? I would expect money pressure would keep it from dropping much. I realize the proceeds from a sale could be pulled back into a savings account or perhaps put into another investment, but there's nothing on the radar in the way of Nike Terrell Suggs Jersey a good alternative investment.

"It was the best of times", profits are steady and strong, and "it was the worst of times", growth is almost non existent. The thing that concerns me the most is the margin account leverage. Too much and it doesn't take much of a negative slide to set off calls and forced sales. We all know what's going to happen then.

Our ability to leverage through credit is a major reason for our financial and business success. While there are humps and bumps in our way, it has done pretty well for us. Our downfall in the worst cases is the slide from credit justified leverage to speculative excess. I would lobby for stronger regulation on speculation by entities without an operational interest in the market.

I see the full effects of the Obaamacre fallout rolling forward like a freight train toward a broken bridge. While it is evident that retail sales are not robust, but are up somewhat, the big money is from dividends and stock sales, and not from the majority who are getting by on sub inflation wage growth. The blue collar working class is holding back, right now, because of anticipated higher medical expenses whether or not they currently have coverage.

The preponderance of reports tell us that most ACA plans people are forced into buying are claiming a larger percentage of discretionary capital. Whether or not the insurance plan is a better deal, or not, is irrelevant. Those who are not covered believe that a percentage will be confiscated by the IRS in short order.

Kathleen Sebelius once equated the ACA cost to young people Nike Joe Flacco Jersey as being "like making a car payment", and that would be nice if they have the money for the new car and health insurance both. They do not have. Remember what the working class has not yet recovered from over the past eleven months : The end of the SSI tax holiday. Two percent down, another 1 or two percent to go.

Detroit Lions seek power runner in NFL draft to complement Jahvid Best

AP PhotoA player such as USC's would come in handy on shortyardage situations.

Editor's note: This is one in a series of stories examining the Detroit Lions and the Julius Peppers Kids Jersey NFL draft. Today: Running backs. Tuesday: Linebackers.

ALLEN PARK One thing needs to be made clear: the Detroit Lions' interest in drafting a running back has nothing to do with their feelings Morgan Burnett Green Jersey about Jahvid Best.

The Lions traded up into the first round last year to draft Best, and they're still thrilled with that acquisition. Best scored five touchdowns in his first two games before turf toe injuries on both feet limited him the rest of the season. Best now is completely healthy and ready for a big season.

While Best will continue to be Detroit's feature back, touching the ball 20 to 25 times a game, he won't be the fulltime workhorse. The Lions are looking for a versatile runner, a guy with size who can run with power but also has some agility and speed to be an overall threat.

While the Lions have Morgan Burnett Kids Jersey excellent balance throughout their offense, that's not the case when it comes to shortyardage and goalline situations. The Lions don't have the thumper inside to move the pile, and that has allowed defenses to put more resources into their pass coverage.

Veteran Maurice Morris has proved to be a valuable backup player, not only in running the ball and receiving out of the backfield, but also in picking up blitzes. Morris, though, is on the last year of his contract and the Lions need to bolster their depth.

A FUTURE LION?Scouting report: The Lions aren't looking for a starting running back, but a solid player who runs with power and can be called on in shortyardage and goalline situations. The Lions, though, aren't looking for a fullback, either they want a guy who can spell starter Jahvid Best from time to time and can be a threat for some big gainers. Bradford seems to fit that bill for Detroit, but there's a problem. Because the Lions had to flip spots in the fifth round with Kansas City (going from ninth in that round to 23rd), there's a huge gap between Detroit's fourthround choice and its pick in the fifth round (107th to 154th). Will the Lions feel the need http://www.packersnflofficial.com/Nike-Sam-Shields-Jersey.html to pull the trigger on Bradford in the fourth round, or do they think they can wait until the fifth round and risk losing the player who would fit their need?

Some recent former draft picks Kevin Smith and Aaron Brown aren't expected to be in the mix this season, so the Lions need to fill some holes. Smith was not tendered a contract as a restricted free agent, so he'll move on, while Brown, despite his speed, doesn't fit into the team's plans.

One of the players who appears to fit exactly what the Lions are looking for is USC's who, at 6foot and 235 pounds, has the size the Lions want. He's a powerful runner who can get the hard yards, so he can fill that role, and also has enough speed to be a threat in the open field. He doesn't have great elusiveness, but the Lions are looking for a running back to fit certain roles in the later rounds, so there are going to be some packersnflofficial.com/Nike-Mason-Crosby-Jersey.html holes.

Daniel Thomas of Kansas State is another thumper, but he's tall (62) for a shortyardage runner and his running style might be a little too upright for the NFL level. At 228 pounds, he has power when he lowers his pads and also can help as a receiver out of the backfield. He could be gone by the time the Lions are looking in the middle rounds.

Two others to keep an eye on are Anthony Julius Peppers Jersey Allen of Georgia Tech and Mario Fannin of Auburn. Allen is 58, 230 pounds, and runs with violence, but his overall skills are hard to evaluate because he runs out of Tech's triple option (remember Jonathan Dwyer?).

Fannin, at 511, 228, is an ideal shortyardage back on third down because he runs through contact and he also is a gifted receiver out of the backfield.

Detroit Lions potential NFL draft pick Dee Milliner will have surgery on March 12

INDIANAPOLIS Alabama cornerback Dee Milliner, a potential firstround NFL draft pick Mason Crosby Youth Jersey by the Detroit Lions, said he plans to have surgery to repair his torn labrum on March 12 after the NFL Scouting Combine.

Milliner said he plans to participate in every drill during the combine except the bench press, but expects to http://www.packersnflofficial.com/Nike-Julius-Peppers-Jersey.html be back at 100 percent in two months.

"It (shoulder) was fine," Milliner said. "Everybody knows I got a torn labrum. I'm going to have surgery on it. I know once I have surgery on it, I'll be back to 100 percent, back to the Sam Shields Womens Jersey normal player that I am."

Milliner believes he injured the shoulder during Alabama's 2924 loss against Texas A on November 10, 2012. He continued to play despite the injury, and even though he could of had surgery after that game, Milliner finished out Alabama's national championship season.

He contemplated having surgery after the championship game, but wanted to compete in the combine to solidify his status as the top cornerback in this draft.

"I know I'll have surgery, and I'll know back to normal, making plays," Milliner said. "That's why I wanted to come to the combine and do this just to show that I can move Sam Shields Youth Jersey around and do stuff with my arm hurt now."

Milliner is one of several possible firstround candidates who could join the Lions this year.

Detroit cornerbacks Chris Houston and Jacob Lacey are unrestricted free agents, and the Lions have not outwardly expressed their interest in resigning either player so far. Lions secondyear cornerbacks Bill Bentley (shoulder) and Chris Greenwood (abdominal tear) are recovering from seasonending injuries sustained as rookies. http://www.packersnflofficial.com/Nike-Morgan-Burnett-Jersey.html

Milliner potentially could start on day one if Detroit does not resign Houston or pursue another cornerback Mason Crosby Green Jersey in free agency.

Last season, Milliner finished with 54 tackles, 4.0 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, one forced fumble and two interceptions. He also led the SEC with 22 passes defended and earned First Team AllSEC honors.

The biggest knock against Milliner leading up to the draft is he lacks the talent of the firstround cornerbacks selected last year, but the former Alabama standout does not agree with that assessment.

"That's an opinion that somebody said, so hopefully when we do get drafted, the team that we go to we can showcase that we're good players, we got great skills here, and we can make plays just as well as the cornerbacks before us," Milliner said.
